How to distinguish silicone wire and Teflon wire

High temperature silicone wire has excellent resistance to high and low temperature, high pressure resistance, aging resistance, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and long service life; Teflon wire is a wire made of polytetrafluoroethylene as an insulating material. 1. From the appearance, the surface of the silicone wire is foggy, the color is not too bright, the surface is a little gray, and it will stick to the hand when touched by hand; the surface of the Teflon wire has good gloss, and it will be very smooth when touched by hand.
 

2. From the perspective of outer diameter, the outer diameter of the same specification silicone wire is 0.75mm, the silicone wire is much thicker, and the Teflon wire is slightly thinner. Compared with silicone wire, Teflon wire has better electrical properties, withstands the same voltage, and therefore has a smaller thickness.
 

3. From the point of view of softness and hardness, the silicone wire is like a rubber wire, very flexible, it will rebound when it is bent by hand, while the Teflon wire is harder, and it will be deformed when it is bent by hand.

4. Pull the surface of the Teflon wire with your hand, there will usually be a trace, it is difficult to cut the surface, so the tensile strength is stronger than the silicone wire, and the silicone wire will break the skin if you pull it lightly. The extension effect is good, but the tensile strength of the silicone wire is not good.
