Common Faults Of Wire And Cable Electrical Lines

The common faults of wire and cable circuit are short circuit, open circuit and damp.

1. Short circuit fault of wire

The short-circuit fault is usually caused by external mechanical damage or a short circuit to the ground caused by the failure of the cable head. The cable can be cut off at the fault, and then the cable middle junction head box can be installed;

2. Wire break fault

Disconnection fault is usually caused by external mechanical damage to break the core wire or the entire cable. The cable can be cut at the fault, and then the cable middle junction head box can be installed;

3. The wires are damp

Moisture is caused by imperfect sealing of cable middle joints or terminal heads, or poor installation quality. You can cut off the damp part and reinstall the middle joints or terminal heads.
